Daniel J. McCormack, PhD, a grants specialist and professor at Binghamton University, has been successfully writing grants for over 30 years. He currently teaches graduate courses in grant writing at Binghamton University and presents grant writing seminars and workshops on and off campus. He has written grants for the New York State Education Department, colleges, universities, school districts, local governments and various human service agencies.
Grant Writing 101 is intended for a beginner to intermediate audience, but experienced grant writers will also benefit. This full day workshop begins at 8:00am and ends at 4:30pm. Grant Writing 101 is offered at three convenient locations. Ulster BOCES will be the primary host and Capital Region BOCES and Sullivan County BOCES will be satellite sites, broadcasting the program via videoconference. Registration begins at 8:00am and a continental breakfast will be provided. There will be a one hour session for lunch and networking at 12noon. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at all three locations.
