EMS LEADERSHIP ACADEMY 2008
A Catskill Hudson AHEC Conference offered in collaboration with
the Westchester County Department of EMS
January 26, 2008
8:00am – 4:30pm
Administrative tasks and personnel management are among an EMS administrator’s central responsibilities. Professional development efforts in areas like administration, supervision, public relations and budgeting receive little attention in annual EMS calendars. These skills and concepts are critical to every EMS service’s long-term success and role as a community caretaker. In response, Catskill Hudson Area Health Education Center, in concert with a number of EMS Providers and the Westchester County Department of EMS, has custom designed this EMS Leadership Academy for EMS officers and other first responders. The program presents a learning experience tailored to EMS providers by experienced leaders in EMS.
The EMS Leadership Academy is for EMS captains, officers, or others in or about to be placed in a position of leadership in his or her EMS agency.
